Carla Tous is reported to have replaced Rachel Zegler as Gina Cabot in Paddington 3.
Following his claim of Rachel Zegler’s replacement in Paddington 3, Daniel RPK/Daniel Richtman also revealed on his Patreon that Carla Tous was cast in her stead. The track record of Richtman’s scoops has been great in the past. However, since nothing has been officially revealed, we need to take his scoop with a grain of salt.
Carla Tous is a fairly new name, as she has only appeared in a few projects including 30 Coins, Through My Window, Through My Window: Across the Sea, and El hombre del saco. However, if Daniel RPK’s Paddington 3 story is true, then the Gina Cabot role could be her breakout gig. It would allow her to get even more high-profile work in the future.

Rachel Zegler has reportedly been recast because Paddington 3’s filming reportedly began in July 2023 during the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike.
Paddington 3 faced no hindrances in its filming as it features an almost entirely UK-based cast. However, with Zegler being an American, she couldn’t have been a part of the movie due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. Hence, her recasting was inevitable for the film to remain on schedule.
