There is no The Fall of the House of Usher season 2 release date as the show was developed as a miniseries or limited series.
In October 2021, it was reported that Flanagan would develop his new limited series for Netflix from the works by Edgar Allan Poe. The collaboration between Flanagan and the streaming giant has been extremely productive, with the release of film Gerald’s Game and TV shows: The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Midnight Club. With the exception of The Midnight Club (which was incidentally canceled after season 1), the rest were developed as limited series, though The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor are regarded as part of the same anthology series.
Moreover, Flanagan has other projects in the pipeline, including film adaptations of Christopher Pike’s 1992 novel The Season of Passage at Universal and Stephen King’s novella The Life of Chuck. Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill are slated to star in the latter project. Flanagan also holds the right to King’s The Dark Tower books and intends to develop a TV show from it. Given all this, it is safe to presume that Flanagan will likely be busy with other projects for the foreseeable future.
