Loki Season 2 Viewership: How Many People Watched Episode 1?

Fans are curious about the Loki season 2 viewership numbers following the premiere. According to Disney, it’s a big success. Here’s how many people have been watching the second season.

How many people watched Loki season 2 episode 1?

Loki Season 2 Episode 1 attained 10.9 million global views within its first three days.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, these numbers are only second to The Mandalorian season 3’s premiere. Comparing them to Ahsoka, the latest Star Wars series opened on a Tuesday night, and its first episode garnered 14 million views worldwide in its first five days.

Loki seems to have gotten a similar, if not better, start, and the rest of the season should only build upon these numbers as well.

How does the Loki season 2 viewership compare to season 1?

Loki season 2 viewership numbers aren’t surprising as they continue the success from season 1, which was the most-watched Marvel series Disney+ up to that point.

While per-episode viewership numbers weren’t revealed for season 1, figures reported by Nielsen’s charts stated that all six episodes of Loki season 1 between June and July 2021 averaged approximately 872 million minutes of viewing every week.

Now, with a strong start in season 2 and more backing from the critics who have already seen the first four episodes, the viewership numbers will only get higher. This was a much-needed win for Marvel and Disney+ as things have been shaky for them throughout 2023.
