Miracle Workers is an anthology comedy series developed by Simon Rich for TBS partly from his own works. Miracle Workers season 5 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
As of early October 2023, Miracle Workers has not been renewed for season 5. Since its premiere, the series has received a mostly positive response from both the critics and the general audience, so that doesn’t necessarily serve as a hindrance to the renewal. The problem seems to lie elsewhere. Variety reported in April 2022 that Warner Bros. Discovery, the parent company of TBS and TNT, had decided to suspend all scripted series development for those networks. At the time, season 4 was yet to come out, and the series was one of the very few remaining shows on the network.
It seems that the prospects for future seasons are quite dim. However, the show’s social media accounts are still active, and it’s always possible that even if TBS officially cancels the show, it ends up finding a home elsewhere.
