Sex/Life Season 3 does not have a release date as it will not be happening. Netflix has canceled the series after two seasons.
According to a Netflix spokesperson, who was interviewed by Deadline, Sex/Life was canceled after two seasons as the story of the series was brought to a natural conclusion by the second season. Moreover, the story arcs for key characters in the series such as Billie Connelly, had wrapped up and the relationships seen in the first two seasons, all had happy endings. The spokesperson further stated that Netflix was proud of what they accomplished.
Furthermore, Sarah Shahi, the star of the series, revealed in an interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that she did not get much support during her work on the second season and predicted that she would not work for Netflix again.
Sex/Life’s cast includes Sarah Shahi as Billie Connelly, Mike Vogel as Cooper Connelly, Adam Demos as Brad Simon, Margaret Odette as Sasha Snow, Phoenix Reich as Hudson, Jonathan Sadowski as Devon, Li Jun Li as Francesca, Meghan Heffern as Caroline, and Joyce Rivera as Olga, among other cast members.
