Before the release of the second installment, screenwriter Charlie Covell announced that there would not be a third season and the series would be closed with only two seasons.
As reported by Digital Spy, Covell told the press, “I don’t think you’re going to get another series. I think sometimes it’s good to just stop things, and I hope when you see the end, you’ll agree. I think you can push things, but this feels like an actual end. Sorry.” Unless Covell changes her mind and decides to write a third season, it is highly unlikely that the series will return, considering Season 2 was released internationally four years ago.
