In September 2023, Netflix announced that Griselda was finally making it to their screens globally in 2024. The platform revealed that the series had wrapped production and, after a long time, was finally getting ready for viewers to delve deep into the life of one of the most powerful drug lords in history, Griselda Blanco. Blanco is often compared to the likes of Pablo Escobar, Osiel Cárdenas Guillén, Al Capone, and El Chapo, among others.
However, there has been no official release date announcement as of yet. Netflix stated in May 2023 that the series was lined up for a Fall 2023 release, among other “prestige” dramas and returning favorites. Viewers will have to wait for an official date to be announced.
