Chapter 1092 reportedly begins with Kuma arriving at Marijoa. Guards arrive to attempt to stop Kuma, but he attacks them. The attack also affects some Celestial Dragons. Akainu shows up and fights Kuma, but Kuma eventually runs off.
There is also a flashback from two years ago when Akainu captured Bonney. Akainu tells Bonney that her father voluntarily got his modifications done. The chapter then returns to the present timeline at Egghead Island.
Kizaru and Luffy are fighting. Luffy is in Snakeman form. However, Kizaru manages to block Luffy’s attacks. Kizaru then uses more power in his next attack, sending Luffy flying. Luffy goes through the Vegaforce-01 robot.
Bonney attacks Kizaru, but Kizaru fights back and also sends her flying. After that, Kizaru goes to where Vegapunk is. Luffy in his gigantic Gear 5 form appears and uses his giant hand to grab Kizaru. Vegapunk and the others are surprised by what happened and their eyes pop out.
Something ominous happens in the last part of the chapter. After hearing Nika’s heartbeat, the Ancient Robot’s eyes light up.

One Piece Chapter 1092 is out in the United States on Sunday, September 17.
One Piece manga fans will be pleased to hear that the series will not be on break next week, lessening the cliffhanger feeling. Hopefully, Luffy changing into Gear 5 will provide fans with a bigger and more epic fight against Kizaru. There’s also the excitement of seeing what the Ancient Robot might do after hearing the Drums of Liberation.
