With the Star Wars series impressing old fans and new fans alike, the release date for Ahsoka Season 2 is highly anticipated. The series acts as a sequel story to Star Wars: Rebels and reunites Ahsoka Tano with the likes of Sabine Wren and General Hera Sendulla. Together, they follow the trail of Grand Admirable Thrawn and Ezra Bridger. But will the story extend to a second season?

Is there an Ahsoka Season 2 release date?
Ahsoka Season 2 does not have an official release date yet, but it will likely be announced in the future.
Rosario Dawson, who plays the live-action version of Ahsoka, claimed that she wishes for a second season. While speaking to Empire, she said:
“I’m absolutely putting it out into the universe. We’re joking about it, but I’m manifesting it because I feel like I helped Dave manifest this role. So I’m ready. I’m excited. I’m willing. I got my ice-packs ready to go for Season 2 and beyond! I would not be mad at that.”
With the way things are moving forward, it’s quite likely that her wish will come true and we will get a second season for Ahsoka. It won’t happen in 2024, but we can certainly expect it sometime in 2025.

Shows like Ahsoka and The Mandalorian are supposed to lead us into Dave Filoni’s upcoming movie, which will culminate everything by bringing the likes of Din Djarin, Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan Kryse, and possibly even Boba Fett together. But since the movie is still about 3 years away, it’s likely that we will be getting at least one more season for The Mandalorian and Ahsoka which will lead us into the film. So, the battle between Ahsoka and Grand Admiral Thrawn will probably continue in Season 2.
