Is there a Money Heist Berlin release date?
Money Heist Berlin’s release date could arrive on December 29, 2023.
A teaser arrived on Netflix’s TUDUM event revealing that the Berlin-centric prequel will arrive in December 2023. It didn’t reveal an exact release date. However, What’s on Netflix reported that the streaming giant “is eying a December 29th, 2023, release date for season 1 of Berlin.”
Considering that it is a Spanish series, it won’t be affected by the ongoing strikes and its actors would be allowed to promote the series. So, the aforementioned release date might turn out to be true with no threat of delays, but Netflix has yet to officially confirm it.
Berlin takes place way before the character Andrés de Fonollosa (Berlin) becomes terminally ill and will showcase him in his prime. It will be full of white-collar crimes, tension, travel, and romance as Berlin pulls off some extraordinary heists before joining the Professor in the original series.
Money Heist creator Álex Pina revealed the following about the upcoming spinoff:
“It’s a trip through the golden age of the character when he robbed around Europe crazy in love.”
Pedro Alonso returns as Berlin in the show. Along with him, we’ll see a bunch of new faces including Michelle Jenner as Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.

Money Heist Berlin is expected to come out on Netflix in late December 2023.
