With the MCU continuing to find its way in Phase 5, the Eternals 2 release date is highly anticipated among fans. The film left us on a cliffhanger as the likes of Sersi, Kingo, and Phastos were picked up by Arishem to be judged for what they did to Tiamut. Following their trail were Makkari, Druig, Thena, Starfox, and Pip the Troll. But when will each of them be back?
Here’s all the Eternals 2 release date information we know so far and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there an Eternals 2 release date?
Eternals 2’s release date is predicted to arrive in late 2026 or early 2027.
While there hasn’t been a confirmed announcement for Eternals to return with a sequel, Marvel rarely abandons its pre-established plans. With that cliffhanger ending, Marvel surely has plans for part 2. Considering that there are plenty of MCU movies already slotted, Eternals 2 cannot be completed before Avengers: The Kang Dynasty comes out on May 1, 2026.
So, while all Eternals are off-planet, we should expect them to sit out of Avengers 5. Instead, the sequel could happen in November 2026 (like its predecessor) or in February 2027 and set up the role of the Eternals in Avengers: Secret Wars.
These dates are an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.
The sequel will solve the cliffhanger ending of part 1 as the likes of Thena, Druig, Makkari, and Starfox will try to save Sersi, Kingo, and Phastos. Furthermore, we expect to see Starfox’s backstory and connection to Thanos be explored in it.
