Zenon: The Zequel is a sequel to the 1999 film and came out two years after its predecessor. Zenon is now fifteen years old and back with more space adventures. This time, her mischiefs get her stationed at the alien patrol lab, where she works on finding alien life. When she at last intercepts signals from the aliens, Zenon faces the challenge of persuading others about their existence. Meanwhile, her space station has been taken over by the military and is being dismantled.
