Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 has no official release date yet, but it will likely be announced soon.
The show’s second season streamed from January 15 to March 19, 2023. Since then, Paramount has yet to renew the series for another season. After Jeremy Renner’s life-threatening snow plow accident earlier this year, many fans were worried he would return as Hawkeye in MCU and other projects, such as the Mayor of Kingstown.
But the actor has since been recovering steadily and even mentioned that he’d be back as Hawkeye if Marvel recalled him. So, it’s safe to assume he’d also return for Mayor of Kingstown season 3 after it gets renewed. After all, he was ready for it before his accident, and there’s a possibility that Paramount has been waiting for him to fully recover before announcing the third season.
Furthermore, showrunner Hugh Dillon told Deadline in January 2023 that he has “multiple ideas for multiple seasons” for the show. So, it’s only a matter of time until it gets renewed. Having said that, we shouldn’t expect Season 3 to arrive any time before 2025, as Renner’s injuries and the ongoing strikes have delayed its pre-production process.
