Who’s part of the Shanks crew in One Piece Netflix?
Here are the Red Hair Pirates members and the actors portraying them in Netflix’s One Piece.
- Peter Gadiot as Shanks
- Laudo Liebenberg as Benn Beckman
- Stevel Marc as Yasopp
- Ntlanhla Morgan Kutu as Lucky Roux
Shanks is the captain of the Red Hair Pirates, known for his laid-back yet formidable personality. Pretty much like in Eiichiro Oda’s story, the Red Hair Pirates make their first appearance during the flashbacks featuring Luffy’s past. During Luffy’s childhood, he idolized Shanks, wanting to be part of his crew. Even though the red-haired pirate never accepted Luffy’s requests, he and the kid formed a strong bond, especially after Shanks sacrificed his arm to save Luffy from a sea monster.
In the manga and the anime series, the Shanks crew includes Limejuice, Bonk Punch, Monster, Building Snake, Hongo, Gab, and Rockstar, among others.
What are the powers of the Shanks crew in One Piece Netflix?
The live-action series doesn’t show much of the powers of the Shanks crew. However, fans saw that Shanks and his pirates were formidable combatants. In particular, Shanks looked calm and collected even when facing the sea monster. On that occasion, he showcased his control of the Conqueror’s Haki, a mysterious power that made his eyes glow and convinced the monster to leave Shanks and Rufy alone.
As Shanks’ right-hand man, Benn Beckman is an immensely skilled marksman with a reputation for being extremely intelligent and resourceful. Yasopp is the sniper of the crew, highly proficient with weapons such as slingshots. Lucky Roux is recognizable by his large size, which gives him a formidable physique and unique combat abilities.
