With the second season airing on HBO and MAX, the Winning Time Season 3 release date is highly anticipated by many viewers. It gives us a behind-the-scenes look into one of the most dominant dynasties ever, the LA Lakers team. We witness how the Lakers became a force to reckon with in the 1980s. But will the series return for another season?
Here’s all the Winning Time Season 3 release date information we know so far and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a Winning Time Season 3 release date?
Update: Winning Time has been canceled after Season 2.
Currently, season 3 hasn’t been greenlit, and Season 2 hasn’t even ended (ends on Sept 17, 2023). While the series has had critical acclaim, and even the viewers who watch it have loved it, Season 3 still isn’t confirmed.
Winning Time author Jeff Pearlman recently stated that he was worried about the series’ fate. Season 3 hangs in the balance as, according to him, the viewership numbers haven’t been as high as the first season. However, it still can happen. After all, HBO was thrilled to return for Season 2. So, season 3 could get another shot despite declining viewership.
The second season was renewed quickly after the first and arrived just 15 months after season 1’s finale. But with the ongoing strikes, season 3 could take slightly longer. We shouldn’t expect it before late 2024 or even early 2025 if it gets renewed.
These dates are an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.
The ensemble cast of Winning Time includes Jason Clarke, Adrien Brody, John C. Reilly, Quincy Isaiah, Sally Field, and Jason Segel, among many others.
