Silo Season 2 Release Date

Silo Season 2 Release Date Rumors: When Is It Coming Out?

Fans of Silo have been curious about the release date of its second season ever since Apple TV+ announced the renewal of the science fiction dystopian drama series for a second season back in June 2023. The story of Silo focuses on a community in a dystopian future living in a giant underground silo that is comprised of 144 levels.

Here’s all the Silo Season 2 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a Silo Season 2 release date?

At the time of writing Silo Season 2 does not have an official release date, even though it is confirmed to be happening. However, it is expected to come out by late 2024-early 2025.

The reason for the late 2024-early 2025 is because of the ongoing strikes by the Writers’ Guild of America and members of SAG AFTRA. Filming for Silo Season 2 had in fact begun in late June 2023 only for it to be shut down because of the strikes.

The late 2024-early 2025 release timeframe is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.

Silo stars Rebecca Fergusson in the lead role of Juliette Nichols. Other cast members include Common as Robert Sims, Harriet Walker as Martha Walker, Chinaza Uche as Paul Billings, Avi Nash as Lukas Kyle, Rick Gomez as Patrick Kennedy, Tim Robbins as Bernard Holland, Billy Postlethwaite as Hank, Robert Ryan as Uptop President, and Rashida Jones as Allison Becker, among other cast members. Silo is created by Graham Yost, who is known for his work in films such as Speed and The Pacific.

Where is Silo coming out?

Silo is anticipated to come out on Apple TV+ by late 2024 or early 2025.

The official synopsis for Silo reads:

“In a ruined and toxic future, a community exists in a giant underground silo that plunges hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them.”
