With the launch of the DCU, The Brave and the Bold‘s release date is hotly anticipated amongst many Batman fans. It will be another rebooted story of the Caped Crusader taking place within James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC continuity. But this time, the story will focus equally on Bruce Wayne’s biological son, Damian Wayne.
Here’s all of The Brave and the Bold release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a The Brave and the Bold release date?
The Brave and the Bold’s release date could arrive by late 2026 or in 2027.
James Gunn recently revealed that right now, there is no script for the upcoming Batman movie, and no casting has occurred either. So, despite The Flash director Andy Muschietti being attached, the development of the Batman and Robin movie is in very early stages.
All projects after Superman: Legacy are moving forward very slowly. Hence, we shouldn’t expect The Brave and the Bold to arrive before the second half of 2026. Furthermore, Warner Bros. might want to space it out from The Batman II, which is scheduled for October 3, 2025, to avoid redundancy and “Batman Fatigue.” So, it’s also possible for The Brave and the Bold to arrive in early-mid 2027.
These dates are an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.
The Bruce and Damian-centric film will take inspiration from the comic book concept of The Brave and The Bold created in 1955. It will establish Damian Wayne as the Boy Wonder, aka Robin alongside Batman. Furthermore, it is also expected to set up the Bat Family’s assembly. But, it will be a while before both Batman and Robin are cast.
Where is The Brave and the Bold coming out?
The Brave and the Bold is expected to come out in the theaters.
We’d have a clearer picture of its development in 2024.
