With the latest animated redo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, the TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 release date has become highly anticipated. The TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 release date is predicted to arrive in Summer 2026.
Even before the first film hit theaters, Variety reported that Paramount and Nickelodeon are developing a sequel and a two-season series to bridge the gap between the films. So before Mutant Mayhem 2, the first season of the spin-off series Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would arrive (probably in mid-2025). Then, we could expect the Mutant Mayhem sequel to follow in the Summer of 2026, around the same time as the first one.
This release window is an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.
Specific plot details of what will happen in the sequel haven’t been revealed yet. But we could expect the film to expand upon Shredder after teasing him at the end of the first one. He is the most well-known Ninja Turtles villain and was saved to be properly explored in the sequel.
Amongst the leading voice cast actors, Part 2 should bring back Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Micah Abbey as Donatello, Brady Noon as Raphael, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, and Jackie Chan as Splinter.

The official synopsis of the first film reads:
“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtles set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
