Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Red are heading to Amazon Prime Video as part of the schedule for August 21-27.
U.S. Prime Video subscribers have to patiently wait until Friday, August 25, to watch Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Released in March 2023, the Jonathan Goldstein- and John Francis Daley-directed movie is a live-action adaptation of the popular Dungeons & Dragons table game. The plot follows an unconventional group of explorers who embark on a grand heist. The movie stars Chris Pine, Jason Wong, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, Hugh Grant, and Bradley Cooper, among others. The fantasy film grossed over $208 million at the box office.
The Amazon-owned streamer will also add 2010’s Red to its available content next Friday. The action-packed film based on the DC Comics graphic novel of the same name stars Bruce Willis in the leading role of Frank Moses, a retired CIA agent who finds himself targeted by assassins and decides to assemble his former team to uncover a conspiracy. The ensemble cast included Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Karl Urban, Rebecca Pidgeon, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Julian McMahon, Ernest Borgnine, and James Remar. The movie was a box-office success with a $199 million haul over a reported $60 million production budget. A sequel titled Red 2 was released in 2013.
The latest Prime Video additions include 2023’s The Black Demon, a sci-fi thriller directed by Adrian Grünberg. Also, a documentary focusing on the life of Jazz musician Wayne Shorter.
