When is the predicted Mickey 17 streaming release date?
Mickey 17 currently has a theatrical release date of March 29, 2024. Accordingly, fans can expect the film to come out sometime in May 2024.
The May 2024 release date is because Warner Bros. releases its theatrical films on streaming platforms 30-45 days after they run exclusively in theaters. However, fans should also expect a delayed streaming release in case the theatrical release is delayed because of the ongoing strikes by the Writer’s Guild of America and SAG AFTRA members.
The story of Mickey 17 will be an adaptation of Edward Ashton’s 2022 novel, Mickey7, and follow the story of Mickey Barnes/Mickey 17, an expendable employee on a human expedition who is sent to colonize the ice world of Niflheim. Furthermore, new iterations of Mickey are made every time the previous iteration dies.
Bong Joon-ho will direct Mickey 17. Mickey 17’s cast includes Robert Pattinson, Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, Holliday Grainger, and Mark Ruffalo.
Is Mickey 17 coming out on streaming?
Mickey 17 will be available to watch via streaming on Max.
The reason that Mickey 17 will come out on Max is because the distribution rights to the film are held by Warner Bros., the company that owns the Max streaming platform.
