Gran Turismo Movie: Is There a Post-Credits, End-Credit, or Mid-Credits Scene?

With Gran Turismo still a couple of weeks away from its official United States release, fans may wonder whether there is any post-credit scene to wait for after the movie ends. Does Gran Turismo feature any special content once the credits start rolling? Here’s what you need to know, spoiler free.

Is there a Gran Turismo post-credits scene?

There is no post-credits scene in Gran Turismo.

However, patient fans can get a closer look at how Kazunori Yamauchi (portrayed by Takehiro Hira) and his team behind created the beloved video game. While the main credits roll, the team looks to recreate the cars as realistically as possible. Once that short sequence is over, fans can finally rush to the bathroom or leave the theater at all. Still, staying until the end of the credits is a nice hat tip to everyone who worked on the project.

Is there a Gran Turismo sequel?

Producers haven’t announced a Gran Turismo sequel yet.

Usually, a post-credit scene serves to set up a hypothetical sequel or, some other times, to connect a larger movie universe. It isn’t the case for Gran Turismo, but it doesn’t mean there won’t be a sequel. Much will depend on how the film will fare during its theatrical release and how its box-office result will look. The fans’ reaction will also be pivotal in deciding whether to greenlight a Gran Turismo sequel.

Directed by Neill Blomkamp from a screenplay penned by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin, Gran Turismo follows the real-life story of Jann Mardenborough, a Grad Turismo player turned professional driver. Joining Archie Madekwe are David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Darren Barnet, Djimon Hounsou, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Daniel Puig, Josha Stradowski, Sang Heon Lee, and German actor Thomas Kretschmann.
