Aladdin is a 1992 American animated musical-fantasy film based on the Arabic folktale, Aladdin. The story follows Aladdin, a street urchin, who finds a magical lamp containing a genie and uses it to make himself a wealthy prince in order to impress the Sultan and win the heart of his daughter Princess Jasmine.
