After a well-acclaimed first season, the Arcane Season 2 release date is highly anticipated by many fans. Based on Riot’s popular “League of Legends” battle game, Arcane did justice to the source material and told a heartfelt sci-fi action story that impressed a lot of fans. But with season 1 leaving us all on a cliffhanger, viewers are left asking when the second season of Arcane is coming out.

Is there an Arcane Season 2 release date?
The Arcane Season 2 release date is predicted to arrive by late 2024.
It began development back in November 2021, as that’s when Netflix renewed it. The first season of Arcane took 6 years to make. But fortunately for the fans, Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent confirmed that season 2 won’t take as long and will come out faster.
While speaking with Esports earlier this year, he confirmed that he’d seen the third episode of season two, and the series is making progress! About the release of season 2, he said:
“Honestly, we didn’t know if season one was gonna be a success. If I had known, we could have started season two way earlier. But we didn’t know, so we kind of waited a bit. Now we’re paying the price. So, it’s unfortunately not going to be this year.”
So, we shouldn’t expect to see it in 2023. However, mid-late 2024 would be the best guess considering this series isn’t impacted by the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes.

In Arcane Season 2, we expect to see the return of Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Ella Purnell as Jinx, Katie Leung as Caitlyn Kiramman, and even Jason Spisak as Silco, despite what happened to his character in the first season’s finale.
