Jujutsu Kaisen is a shonen manga series illustrated and written by Gege Akutami. Shueisha began the serialization of the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. Meanwhile, Viz Media is in charge of the North American and English release of the series. Studio MAPPA produces the anime series. The first season of the anime adaptation premiered in October 2020. It had a total of 24 episodes and aired until March 2021. A movie adaptation of the prequel Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was released in 2017.
