Bird Box Barcelona spoilers are now here, with the movie available to watch on Netflix. For those who have seen the film, or just want to know how it ends, here is the ending explained, including which characters die.
What happens to Claire and Sofia in Bird Box Barcelona?
Two characters remain alive at the end of Bird Box Barcelona. After successfully escaping using a cable car, Claire and Sofia find themselves at a compound full of survivors which is guarded by soldiers.
Sofia is reunited with her mother, while Claire is taken away for testing. The tests include an eye examination and blood is taken. When asked why she must give blood, the examiner explains that it’s to see if Claire has a “marker” in her D.N.A. It’s revealed that using blood from those who have had their blood transformed by the creatures may be the path to a cure.
Does the cure in Bird Box Barcelona work?
While the rats do seem to be surviving for longer with the cure, it’s clear that there is still a long way to go before a cure is created.
By the end of the movie, the rats are able to last up to a minute against the manipulative gaze and noise of the creature that the humans have somehow managed to capture.

There are many characters who die in Bird Box Barcelona. These include:

Very few manage to survive the events of the film. Claire and Sofia are the only main characters to survive.
