The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses episode 1 Recap

Komura has a crush on his seatmate, Mie. One day, he notices that Mie looks grumpy and isn’t wearing her glasses. Mie tells him to ignore her grumpy face and that she forgot her glasses. She asks him for help with the school textbook and moves closer to him, making Komura flustered. Mie loses her concept of personal space, making Komura nervous because she’s incredibly close to him.

After school, Mie has trouble with her shoes. It turns out she’s wearing Komura’s shoes, so he helps her look for hers. She starts walking with an untied shoelace, so Komura fixes it. She thanks him for all his help. The next day, Mie isn’t wearing glasses again. During gym class, Komura tries to protect her. In another class, the teacher calls Mie out for sleeping. Komura tells the teacher she isn’t sleeping and she simply forgot her glasses. Mie wakes up and mistakes Komura for her dad.
