There are many deaths in The Flash movie. Curious about who dies? Here are all of the deaths explained. Spoilers ahead!
Does Barry Allen die in The Flash?
The 2013 variant of Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) sacrifices himself to save Barry from the dark Speedster.
The protagonist himself dies in the story, kind of. To prevent his mother’s murder, Barry relies on his Speed Force to travel back in time. Even though he thinks he has fixed everything, Barry returns to an alternate timeline where he teams up with his 2013 variant. The Barrys collide with a dark Speedster, an older version of Barry from that altered timeline. The dark Speedster goes close to killing Barry with a lethal blow, but the 2013 Barry takes all the damage and dies, wiping out the dark Speedster.
Does Batman die in The Flash?
Batman is killed during the battle with General Zod and his forces.
Barry encounters several Batmen during his multiverse adventure, but most of the story features Michael Keaton‘s Batman from the 2013-Barry timeline. The Barrys and Keaton’s Batman join forces to take on Zod, but the Kryptonian army proves to be too much to handle for the good guys. Batman is severely wounded and dies in Barry’s hands.
Does Supergirl die in The Flash?
Supergirl is overpowered and killed by Zod.
In the 2013 altered timeline, Kal-El never made it to Earth and never became Super-Man as he was killed by Zod. Instead, Kara Zor-El (Sasha Calle) became Supergirl. She is then enrolled by the Barrys and Keaton’s Batman to face Zod’s forces. During the clash, she dies. 2013-Barry’s desperate attempts to reverse her fate led him to become the dark Speedster from another timeline.
