There is no plan for a Never Have I Ever Season 5 release date after the fourth season started streaming on June 8, 2023.
Season 4 of this teenage drama series has had a successful run. But in March 2022, the cocreators of Never Have I Ever, Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling, confirmed that the lovable Devi Vishwakumar would be appearing one last time in 2023.
Back in 2022, Kaling told the TODAY show:
“Every year the cast is getting older, and we want them to be believably in high school. We knew how we wanted to end the show when we started the show. And four years does seem just to be like the perfect amount of time for a high school show.”
So, it is confirmed that Devi’s story has come to fruition, and there won’t be a Never Have I Ever season 5.
Is Never Have I Ever Season 5 coming out soon?
No, there are no current plans for Never Have I Ever Season 5, so it is not arriving on Netflix any time soon.
Season 4 starred Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (as Devi), Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Ramona Young, and Lee Rodriguez. In her final season, Devi worked on getting her life back on track after her previous screw-ups. She overcame her trauma with the help of a therapist, got admission to her dream college, and focused on her true love.
