Oshi no Ko episode 8 Recap
Aqua notices that he sees Ai a lot in Akane. He feels that he didn’t get to fully understand her and what she really is to him. Aqua invites Kana to skip school and they spend the day playing catch. The two talk while playing, and Aqua realizes he isn’t attracted to Akane. On set, Aqua asks Akane how she incorporated Ai into her character. Akane says she researches and reads books on profiling, leading her to be able to think like Ai. Aqua deems her useful and kisses her on the last episode of Love Now.
During the wrap party, the others ask Aqua and Akane if they are going to date. Aqua meets Kaburagi, and Kaburagi commends him for honoring their agreement and sets a meeting. Akane asks Aqua about what they should do. Aqua confesses he doesn’t see Akane as a girlfriend but respects her as an actress. Akane accepts their relationship as a work thing and says that Yuki and Nobuyuki started dating for real. After the party, Mem-cho teases Aqua about Akane. She also shares that she originally wanted to be an idol. Aqua offers that she joins the new B Komachi, surprising her.
