Peacock has some great original series and shows, but when do new episodes drop on the streaming platform? From NBCUniversal, Peacock seemingly has something for everybody. There are dramas, comedy, docuseries, and even a healthy dose of reality TV. But when do those shows come out? Here’s what we know.
What time do new episodes drop on Peacock?
New episodes drop and come out on Peacock at the following times:
- 5 a.m. ET
- 2 a.m. PT
- 10 a.m. BST
This isn’t to say that this is the exact timing for every show and series available on Peacock. Some will drop later than others. While the streaming platform aims to get episodes of its original projects to air at the aforementioned times, those that are first broadcast on standard television before landing on Peacock may take a little longer to arrive.
Peacock original programming includes the likes of the Bel-Air reboot, mystery comedy Poker Face, and crime drama Dr. Death. The NBCUniversal streaming platform also serves as the home for a number of big screen releases such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie, once they finish out, or near the end of, their theatrical run.
Plans start at $4.99 per month for subscribers in the United States, while Sky and NOW subscribers in the UK and Ireland can access Peacock at no extra cost. There is also a free ad-supported version available, with limited content. Some of the highest paid-for premium tiers include access to NBC Sports, Hallmark Channel, and WWE programming.
In December 2022, Peacock reached 20 million paid subscribers, having only launched in July of 2020. This increased to 22 million in March 2023, showing that the streaming service has plenty of life in it. With so many competitors and an ever-increasing bloated field of streaming platforms, it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
