Here’s the complete list of TV shows and movies you can watch on HBO Max that will debut as part of the schedule for May 8-14, 2023.
Rick and Morty Season 6 is topping the HBO Max May 8-14 schedule. On Thursday, May 11, the streaming service will add the new adventures of the unhinged titular duo to its available content. Season 6 of the popular show premiered on Adult Swim on September 4, 2022, and concluded its run in December 2022 after 10 installments. Still, the titular antiheroes will return for some more wild stories in the already-announced Rick and Morty Season 7, which won’t feature show co-creator Justin Roiland. The show has secured its long-term run, as more episodes have already been ordered over an undetermined number of seasons.
“It’s season six and Rick and Morty are back! Pick up where we left them, worse for wear and down on their luck,” reads the synopsis. “Will they manage to bounce back for more adventures? Or will they get swept up in an ocean of piss! Who knows?! Piss! Family! Intrigue! A bunch of dinosaurs! More piss! Another can’t miss season of your favorite show.”
Rick and Morty hails from creators and executive producers Dan Harmon (Community) and Roiland (Solar Opposites), who also voiced the titular duo up to Season 6. The cast for the rest of the Smith family includes Sarah Chalke as Beth, Chris Parnell as Jerry, and Spencer Grammer as Summer.
