Final Jeopardy Wagers and Winner for February 13

Neilesh became the winner of the February 13 match, making him the victor in the Tournament of Champions for 2025! His lead going into Final Jeopardy and a correct answer gave him what he needed to win.

With a thin lead going into the segment, Neilesh had $13,600 and earned an extra $7,201 with his right answer. His total of $20,801 gave him enough for his third win and received prize money of $250,000.

Adriana made a small but significant mistake in the second round, so she was trailing Neilesh with $10,400. So though she got the right answer and earned $6,000, it wasn’t enough to catch him. Final Jeopardy Answer for February 13

The correct answer for Final Jeopardy on February 13, 2025 is “Who is Argus?”

Not to be confused with the cyclops, Argus Panoptes is a giant that has a hundred eyes all over its body and was depicted as such on a lot of Athenian pottery. The goddess Hera originally assigned Argus to watch over her priestess Io who had been turned into a cow.

But the giant was later slain by Hermes (or Mercury), who was sent by Zeus to take Io. The god of thieves disguised himself as a goatherd and made Argus sleep by playing his pipes. He then beheaded the giant, bestowing Hermes the name Argeiphontes. Argus’s numerous eyes were then taken by Hera and placed into the tail of a peacock.
