Travis Scott will be performing at Coachella 2025 on Saturday night, which would mean April 12 and April 19 during the two-weekend festival.
As noted by USA Today, Travis Scott is expected to play on Saturday night in the same spot that used to be called “Returning to the Desert,” which Scottish DJ Calvin Harris took at Coachella 2023. This means that he will playing on the same days as Green Day, Charli xcx, The Original Misfits, and Keinemusik. It’s unclear why this billing was changed to “Designs the Desert” for this upcoming Coachella, but the rapper provides a hint to what this might mean.
On his official Instagram, Travis Scott posted a picture of the Coachella poster (with everyone’s name but his blurred out) and teased that his set would be a “new chapter,” a “new performance,” and “a new Coachella by La Flame and Cactus Jack.” This would be a solid setup for new music or a new album from the artist to be released before his Coachella 2025 performance.
The last time the rapper performed at Coachella was in 2017, and while he was supposed to headline the event in 2020, it was scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Travis Scott was arrested twice in 2024, the first in June on charges of trespassing and intoxication in Miami and the second in August for a physical altercation with his bodyguard in Paris.
