MrBeast has made several references to running for president over the last few years but stated that he couldn’t because he’s not old enough. Some fans are a bit confused about this because there’s no upper presidential age limit. After all, if you can’t be too old to become president, then why can you be too young? Why can’t MrBeast run for president?
MrBeast can’t run for president because he is only 26 years old. Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution of the United States prohibits those under 35 years of age from being eligible to hold the office of president of the United States:
“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

MrBeast was born on May 7, 1998, so he won’t reach the prerequisite 35 years of age to hold the office of president until May 7, 2033. However, he could run to serve in the House of Representatives (minimum age of 25) at any time or to be a senator in 2028 (minimum age of 30).
What year can MrBeast run for president?
While MrBeast will reach the age of 35 in 2033, the first presidential election he could participate in wouldn’t be held until 2036. So, the youngest he could be when taking office would be 38. Even at that age, he’d beat out Theodore Roosevelt (who was 42) to be the youngest president ever.
