Eidos Montreal has released a brand new cinematic for their upcoming Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, highlighting yet another character the group will come into contact with on their adventures.

After the last cinematic highlighted Lady Hellbender, this one introduces Grand Unifier Raker, the leader of the Universal Church of Truth and a man who seems extremely powerful. After talking with the Guardians, Raker then tells the group that the “Matriarch” would like to meet them.

It’s unclear just who Raker or the Universal Church of Truth are, but it seems like they’ll be playing somewhat of a part in the larger story of the game. According to a previous gameplay showcase shown off by Eidos, the game looks to have some sort of small dialogue choice system where players can choose who to side with and what to say at specific times.
