Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista took to Twitter this morning to reveal that his wrestling persona Batista is heading to the Gears of War universe in the upcoming fifth installment Gears 5 as a new playable character! Check out the announcement below!

The third-person sci-fi action shooter will follow Kait Diaz, an Outsider of Locust descent who must set out on a journey to discover the origins of both her family and the Locust race in order to wipe out a new threat to humanity. She will be aided by original franchise protagonist Marcus Fenix as well as his son/previous installment protagonist JD Fenix and his friend Delmont Walker.
In addition to Batista joining the game as a playable character, it was previously announced that the game will feature a crossover with the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate, allowing players to control Sarah Connor with Linda Hamilton voicing her iconic role or an Arnold Schwarzenegger model Terminator.

Gears 5 is set to hit shelves for PC and the Xbox One Tuesday, September 10.
