After a new Marvel’s Avengers video was released revealing prologue gameplay footage, our sister site GameRevolution brings word that Square Enix has confirmed that Ms. Marvel, aka Kamala Khan, does appear on the helicarrier during the A-Day disaster. You can check out the new video in the player below, and keep an eye out for the young girl wearing a Captain Marvel shirt around the 11:31 mark!

Square Enix stated that they would have “more details on how [Khan will] fit into the game at a later date.” When she appears on the bridge of the helicarrier, Khan is a young girl and it has been theorized that she is the one narrating the trailer. In the comics, Khan is the fourth character to take on the Ms. Marvel name, having grown-up idolizing Carol Danvers. She first appears in Captain Marvel #17 as a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from New Jersey. The character later became Marvel Comic’s first Muslim character to headline her own comic book.
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband.
