Today, Super Evil Megacorp released the first DLC for its action roguelike game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. Titled Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam, the new content is available now to download on all platforms which includes Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices.
Casey Jones playable in TMNT: Splintered Fate DLC
The most notable addition to the TMNT: Splintered Fate DLC is Casey Jones as a playable character. A description of the character describes him in lacking finesse, but makes up for it in raw power. It also includes the new Junkyard level, new enemies and bosses, and five new artifacts. Check out the trailer below to get a glimpse at the new content.
“After defeating Karai, you have your choice to enter the Streets, or try your luck in the Junkyard,” reads the DLC’s description. “The Junkyard brings an all new narrative starring Casey, the Punk Frogs, their mechanic, Gigi, and a surprise Punk Frog encore.”
“While a junkyard wouldn’t normally feel homey, the Punk Frogs have settled in and made it their own,” continues the description. “The warmth from the blazing barrel fires, the completely non-toxic pools of water, the artistry of Frog graffiti peppering the landscape. What could be better?”
TMNT: Splintered Fate originally launched in November 2024. Since then, the developers have been updating the game fairly regularly. The last hotfix was implemented in January, and featured controller support improvements.
TMNT: Splintered Fate’s Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam DLC costs $6.99 on all platforms. However, Steam users get a bit of a discount right now. As an “introductory offer,” the DLC is 15% off, with a listing of $5.94. For new players, a bundle with the base game and DLC is available on Steam for $22.64. This is a pretty good deal considering at list price, it would come out to $36.98 all together.
