Today, 2K and HB Studios revealed PGA Tour 2K25. Gracing the cover are decorated golfers Matt Fitzpatrick, Max Homa, and Tiger Woods. Preordering the game will unlock the golfing icon and Happy Gilmore nemesis Shooter McGavin.
What are the different editions for PGA Tour 2K25?
PGA Tour 2K25 is the newest iteration of the popular professional golf game. Its most prominent new gameplay feature is the EvoSwing mechanic; it also introduces new shot types, ball flights, roll physics, and visual improvements. Golf enthusiasts can play as one of 11 pros at launch, including Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Tom Kim, and Brooke Henderson.

Players looking forward to creating their own golfer in MyCareer can utilize all the new MyPlayer creation tools to personalize their character. This includes decking them out with well-known brands like Callaway, Titleist, Malbon Gold, Adidas, and more.
PGA Tour 2K25 includes 29 licensed courses at launch, letting players golf at some of the most iconic courses in the sport. This includes The Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, and the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club. Players can also create their own courses and share them online with Course Designer. Additionally, the Topgolf mode makes its return.
There are three different editions for PGA Tour 2K25: Standard, Deluxe, and Legend. The Standard Edition includes just the base game. The Deluxe Edition includes the Extra Butter x Adidas Pack, Birdie Pack, and Starter Pack in addition to the game. Lastly, the Legend Edition comes with everything from the Deluxe Edition as well as the Member’s Pass, Malbon Bucket Ball Pack, and Sun Day Red Pack. Those who preorder the Deluxe or Legend Pack will get seven days of early access.
Players will receive the Extra Butter x Adidas Pack for preordering any edition of the game, including the Standard Edition. The DLC includes Chris McDonald (a.k.a. Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore) as a playable character as well as the Shooter Collection hat, jacket, and shoes.
PGA Tour 2K25 launches on February 28, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
