The House of the Dead 2: Remake release date window has been set for the spring of 2025, with the game releasing on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The trailer for the upcoming shows off some updated looks for the game, as well as what gameplay will look like.

The House of the Dead 2 was originally released in 1998 in Japanese and American arcades, and served as a direct sequel to 1996’s The House of the Dead. The original The House of the Dead was remade in 2022, and featured an analog controlled crosshair for aiming, with the ability to utilize alternate control methods such as USB mouse control or PlayStation Move/Aim controllers for things like PlayStation 4 and other consoles.
The House of the Dead 2: Remake will also feature a boss mode that allows players to run through the game’s bosses, as well as a training mode that allows players to practice running through certain sections of the game to prepare for the real thing.
