Illfonic Inc. has laid out the Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game summer/fall 2024 roadmap for the multiplayer game based on the cult classic movie.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is a 3v7, asymmetric horror multiplayer experience. The game evolves the online horror formula by pitting a team of three Killer Klowns against seven scrappy Humans. Where the game stands out – the Klowns aren’t the only hunters. While others in the category feature a hunter vs the hunted, Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game differs. It gives Humans a chance to be the aggressor, the escape artist, or master the art of hide-and-seek. The game launched with five maps that explore all parts of this Klown-captured community.

The Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game summer/fall 2024 roadmap covers all new additions to the game from this month until October. It includes two maps and several new characters.

In addition, a July 1.3..0 update is released today that includes the following:
- Player Resurrection Card – A new Hand of Fate card will bring you back to life if drawn.
- Drop Inventory While Cocooned – Players can now drop items from their inventory while cocooned.
- Respawn After Falling Off Map – Issues that caused players to fall out of our map’s boundaries will now respawn back on the map.
There was also an announcemnt for phsyical editions of the game which will feature an assortment of Klown-themed goodies. More details on those are set to arrive in the coming weeks.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a 1988 sci-fi horror comedy from Stephen Chiodo (Alien Xmas) where a group of aliens who happen to look like clowns land in a small town. They terrorize the locals with a variety of circus and clown-themed contraptions. It became something of a cult classic thanks to its memorable clown designs and an infectious theme tune performed by punk group The Dickies.
