Fortnite’s Jack Sparrow skin is part of the upcoming Cursed Sails Pass. However, while the pack officially launches next month, Epic Games accidentally released it early on Saturday. Epic quickly pulled it from the Item Shop, but not before several players already bought it. Those players get to keep the skin, but not everyone else is willing to wait until the official release. Getting it now doesn’t exactly require sailing the high seas, though it does involve a somewhat risky workaround.

As VideoGamer reported, some players are getting the Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin early, thanks to the bot on the AK Facility discord channel. Players can log in with their Epic Games account and purchase the hidden item using the bot. Of course, this does mean sharing your account information with a third party, which is not the best idea from a security perspective. Therefore, fans are probably better off waiting a month to buy the skin like everyone else.
Players instantly unlock the Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin when they purchase the Cursed Sails Pass, with other items available as rewards. Among them are three additional skins for an undead Jack and the characters Elizabeth Swann, Captain Barbossa, and Davy Jones.
