Konami and Limited Run Games announced Rocket Knight Re-sparked! on Tuesday, a three-game classic revival collection of the iconic Konami franchise Rocket Knight Adventures.
The new collection is available now for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and includes 1993’s Rocket Knight Adventures, 1994’s Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2, and Sparkster, which also released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
All three games will feature brand-new features for long-time fans to enjoy, including a franchise museum and music player. As for gameplay, players will also be able to play a Boss Rush mode that allows them to skip to the boss fight immediately and utilize a rewind feature. The game will also support progression saves and loads as well.

What is Rocket Knight Adventures?
To coincide with the release, Limited Run games is also producing a physical release of the game, which is said to be coming soon. It’s unknown when these will release however, but Limited Run Games has created various special, physical editions of Rocket Knight Adventures titles in the past.
Originally released in the 1990s, Rocket Knight Adventures was available on the Sega Genesis initially, before eventually making its way to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System with Sparkster. A sequel to Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 titled Rocket Knight was made and released in 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
