The latest Star Wars: Hunters trailer celebrates the launch of the free-to-play shooter on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. The galaxy’s favorite sporting event takes place on the planet of Vespaara and we get a glimpse of several battlefields and plenty of Hunters who are raring to go.
How to download Star Wars: Hunters for free
Star Wars: Hunters can be downloaded right now for free from the Nintendo eShop on Switch, Google Play Store on Android, and the App Store for iPhone and iPad users. Alternatively, you can go to the Star Wars: Hunters official website and choose your platform on there.
Players on Nintendo Switch can also purchase the Star Wars: Hunters – Bounty Cosmetic Pack for $14.99. This gives access to the following content as well as the game itself:
- Imara Vex’s Plum Bounty Hunter Costume
- Imara Vex’s Plum Rifle Weapon Wrap
- Bounty Puck Sticker
- Your Champion Victory Pose
- 500 Crystals
The new trailer shows off just some of the content awaiting players in the free competitive battle arena game. There are 13 Hunters available at launch, each of which has their own moveset and abilities. They include the Mandalorian Vanguard Aran Tal, who is new for the launch of Season 1.
While not seen in the trailer, Season 1 also introduces a new Vespaara Row map, with the ORSN broadcast station, local transit hub, and relay bridge allowing for close combat across several levels. There will also be hundreds of new pieces of Cosmetic content such as costumes, weapon wraps, stickers, avatars, and victory poses. These will be available through the Arena Pass, Bundles, and Events.
The new Ranked Season gives players a chance to earn a Legendary Imara Vex costume set as just one of its rewards. Meanwhile, the Pinnacle Clash Event will randomly allocate players to fight as either Imara Vex or Aran Tal in head-to-head matches. Taking part in these events will also grant rewards in the Balada’s Bounty Event.
