Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will finally arrive on current-gen consoles later this year, with Bandai Namco confirming the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game’s release date.
Xenoverse 2 will arrive on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles on May 24, 2024. Owners of the game looking to upgrade can do so using “Smart Delivery,” which will also transfer saved data from the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
Currently, Bandai Namco hasn’t revealed how upgrading the game and transferring save data will work, but said that fans can expect more information at a later date.
What consoles is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 available on?
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game was first released back in October of 2016 and served as a sequel to 2015’s Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
Since its release, Xenoverse 2 has received extensive post-launch support, with DLC characters from across the franchise being added alongside different modes and both free and paid additional content.
The most recent DLC, which dropped earlier this year, included Gohan (Beast), Piccolo (Power Awakening), and Orange Piccolo from the 2022 film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. It also included new story content, abilities, skills, and more.
