Call of Duty fans can officially begin playing the hit battle royale Warzone mode on mobile devices beginning next month, with Activision announcing Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on Wednesday.
The new first-person shooter mobile game is developed and published by Activision and aims to connect all Call of Duty players into one shared world. The game is officially set to launch on March 21, 2024, and will be available on both iOS and Android.
Two large-scale maps are set to be available at launch, including the fan-favorite Verdansk — the location of the very first iteration of Call of Duty’s Warzone mode — and Rebirth Island, another fan-favorite location.
Alongside the ability to play Warzone, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will also allow players to check out a variety of multiplayer maps, including Shipment and Shoot House.
Shared progression allows for leveling up anywhere
In a move that is sure to please fans, Activision also confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will also feature shared progression across both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.
The progression is tied to both level XP and weapon XP, and even Battle Pass progression, meaning that no matter where you play, you’ll be able to continue leveling up your items across all platforms.
Players looking to pre-register for the game can do so on Call of Duty’s website. Pre-registering will also gift players with free exclusive items, including:
- The Ghost “Condemned” Operator Skin
