All Games Showcased at Nintendo Direct February 2024

A new Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase took place today, February 21, 2024.

Viewers were treated to a plethora of upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch, most of which are due to launch during the first half of 2024. There were some expected updates, plenty of surprises, and even shadow-dropped games. We’ve compiled all of the announcements from the event below.

Nintendo Switch games announced at Nintendo Direct

  • Xbox Game Studios’ Grounded is coming to Nintendo Switch with cross-platform play on April 16.
  • Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, the sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, is coming to Switch in 2024.
  • Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure slides its way onto Switch this summer.
  • Tactical fantasy RPG Unicorn Overlord is released on March 8 and a demo is available on the Nintendo eShop right now.
  • Monster Hunter Stories makes the jump to Switch this summer with a fully-voiced cast and HD graphics.
  • Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed brings the 2010 classic into the modern age on Nintendo Switch later this year.
  • Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance offers a whole new storyline alongside the original tale in the definitive version of the game, due to be released on June 21.
  • Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection brings the 2004 Star Wars Battlefront and the 2005 sequel Star Wars Battlefront II to Switch on March 14.
  • South Park: Snow Day got a brand-new trailer.
  • Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream has solo play and online co-op for up to 20 players. The game arrives on Nintendo Switch later this year.
  • Gundam Breaker 4 features more than 250 base kits to break down and customize when the game hits Switch later this year.
  • Switch-exclusive Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble introduces an all-new co-op Adventure Mode and 16-player online modes when it is released on June 25.
  • Switch-exclusive World of Goo 2 features new types of Goo Balls with new abilities and is released on May 23.
  • The delayed Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will now be released on October 10.
  • The Souls-like Another Crab’s Treasure is released on April 25.
  • The Sonic Mania team has released platformer Penny’s Big Breakaway on Switch today.
  • Suika Game gets a premium Multi-Player Mode Expansion Pack DLC today, with online play being added later.
  • “Dig-venture platformer” Pepper Grinder is released on March 28 and a demo is available on the Nintendo eShop right now.
  • Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! fuses solitaire and horse riding on Nintendo Switch today. A demo is also available.
  • Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley launches on March 7. Those who preorder the game get the cosmetic Cherished Keepsakes DLC.
  • The latest EA Originals action-adventure game Tales of Kenzera: ZAU launches on April 23. A 10% discount and special perks are available for those who preorder.
  • Board game spinoff Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! is released on April 26.
  • Kingdom Come Deliverance: Royal Edition, which includes the full game and all DLCs, arrives on Switch on March 15.
  • Contra: Operation Galuga reimagines the classic action game from the 80’s. A demo is available now ahead of the game’s release on March 12.
  • The second Xbox Game Studios’ title, Pentiment, arrives on Switch tomorrow, February 22.
  • Killer Instinct, Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Snake Rattle N Roll, and R.C. Pro-Am join Nintendo Switch Online today. Blast Corps is available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass.
  • Endless Ocean Luminous features more than 500 species to discover when it is released on May 2.
