WWE 2K24 Includes Playable Post Malone, Soundtrack Revealed

The WWE 2K franchise is no stranger to unique playable characters, and the upcoming WWE 2K24 is no different. 2K Games has announced that superstar musician Post Malone will be in the latest entry to the wrestling game franchise.

In a recent announcement from 2K, the company announced that not only would Malone be acting as curator and executive producer for the game’s soundtrack, but he would also be a playable character. According to the post, Malone will be available for purchase in a post-launch DLC pack, although no release information on him has been announced yet.

As for the game’s soundtrack, it will include the following 12 songs curated in part by Malone:

  • Busta Rhymes — Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See
  • Colter Wall — Motorcycle

  • Speed — Not That Nice
  • Turnstile — Mystery
  • Tyler Childers — House Fire

WWE 2K24 features include improved cameras, facial animations

2K ptrviousl6 detailed the new features set to arrive in the game, namely a big update to the game’s 2K Showcase mode. This year, 2K will celebrate the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania in the Showcase mode, with new moments that allow fans to play through some of the most iconic WrestleMania moments in history.

2K24 will also feature four new match types added into the game. These include Ambulance matches, Special Guest Referee matches, and more. 2K also stated that over 200 superstars and legends will be in the game and touted that they have updated more than 90% of facial animations, among other big improvements to entrances and camera tweaks.

WWE 2K24 is set to release on March 8, 2024.
