The first DLC pack for Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is out now along with an update to the game that adds in custom matchmaking.
The newest DLC pack includes the Legendary Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, as a playable character in the game. The DLC pack is available now for $5.99 across various online gaming stores and includes a new combination secret technique, ninja info card images, and additional voice options for the character for players to choose from.

Update also adds custom matchmaking into fighting game
Alongside the DLC, Bandai Namco also announced that Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections received a new update on Thursday. The 1.11 patch to the game has added custom matchmaking to all players. This allows users to party up and create lobbies for up to 8 designated players. Custom matches will be available in VS Battle, League, and Tournament modes for the game.
“In Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, players can choose from the largest roster in a Naruto game, with more than 130 characters from the series available, and 10 new ones introduced in the game,” reads the game’s synopsis. “Facing their opponents, they will be able to use various combos and even change their leader to keep the pressure on their opponent. Ninjutsu and Awakening will play an important part in combat. Players will be to pick up to six Ninjutsu abilities to gain advantage against their opponents.”
