Teravision Games’ Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game has received a fresh gameplay trailer for Gamescom 2023, and it does a fine job of showcasing the absurd chaos of the asymmetrical multiplayer title.
The brief teaser sees the 3 vs. 7 setup in play as the Klowns’ strange repertoire of tools and abilities is on display. Among those shown in the gameplay trailer are popcorn guns, balloon dogs, and comedy mallets.
It’s noted the gameplay footage is still in the Alpha stage, so there are naturally a few rough edges, but it already looks like it could be quite a hoot.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game Trailer
The game sees players able to become the Killer Klowns and cooperate in a team of three players, utilize unworldly abilities, hunt humans with zany weapons, and plan their alien invasion to harvest the population of Crescent Cove successfully.
But if players feel more rebellious, then they can fight back as a team of seven brave citizens of Crescent Cove. Players can explore the city for valuable loot and weapons, whilst avoiding capture by Klowns as they try to survive the alien invasion.
Despite the comedic tone, the game doesn’t seem to be shy about getting a bit bloody, which makes some moments in that trailer funnier. It’s certainly got the spirit of the movie captured.
There’s still no release date for Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, but developer Teravision Games has recently partnered with Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Friday the 13th: The Game developer IllFonic.
